Ikea one-dollar hotdogs
Enough to curb the craving for a classic Jolly hotdog, even for just a couple of days.
Bedroom on a budget
Again, courtesy of Ikea. Initially I only got the desk and the pretty pink swivel chair, but I went ahead and bought (and, ehem, assembled) the matching shelf, because there is no denying that I have a crap ton of stuff. And considering it costs less than 30SGD, I'd say it's definitely worth it.
Dirt-cheap, and I get to load up on veggies. ^^
After blazing through an entire season of Outsourced (which was nice but not overly so), I have now devoted my remaining truckloads of free time to watching Chuck (as per the recommendation of my favorite person in the world).
I started with Season 1 last week, and I'm pretty sure I'll be done with Season 4 by this weekend.
Just one teeny-tiny issue: There exists the technology to upload vast amounts of information (and skills, even) into the human brain, and yet time bombs have to make do with obnoxiously large and extremely primitive 7-segment displays that beep away noisily. It's just too painful to see.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua
My last beauty splurge before a self-imposed shopping ban due to extreme lack of funds. Pricey, yes, but worth every penny. Coverage is medium at best, but the finish is very natural and it holds up quite nicely to the icky Singapore weather. I would've preferred it to be fragrance-free, but we can't have everything, can we?
