New on the Lemming List: The Epi Neverfull

The Louis Vuitton Neverfull is a love-it-hate-it kind of bag. I happen to love mine to bits.

I also love this picture (and my girls) to bits

Nevermind that every other girl I see carries the same bag, it's just so incredibly easy - it goes with everything, and everything goes in it. It's also very sturdy - I've had mine for over a year and while it's looking a bit worn it's still going strong. And this bag has been through everything - torrential downpour, snow, and the occasional  trip to the grocery (they don't give out plastic bags in Germany so it got stuffed full of canned goods and vegetables and giant water bottles), and other forms of abuse. I'm not one to baby bags (obviously) but it has held up wonderfully. The price has increased by about a hundred euros (!!!) since I got it, but I think it's worth every penny - it's the perfect schlepping bag.

And then this baby came along.

The very same bag, in epi leather as opposed to coated canvas. In the yummiest of colors. And a most horrid price tag. I'm trying to justify the two grand with the suede lining and matching pouch slash clutch, but let's face it - I don't need it nor do I have the ability to provide it with the care it requires. Doesn't stop me from lusting after it, though. Sigh.
