Things I Didn't Know I Needed: The Key Keeper

Three problems:

1. My bag is a black hole that refuses to regurgitate my keys whenever I need them, especially when I'm at the front door and I really have to pee.

2. I haven't installed a screen protector on my iPhone for months now, in an attempt to live life on the edge. And every time I find my keys lying there right beside my phone, I die a little bit.

3. It's been a year since I moved into this flat, and I still can't tell which key opens the front door and which one is for my room. All the dance steps to Stop by the Spice Girls I still remember, and yet this daily thing my scumbag brain conveniently forgets.

One nifty nifty Japanese (of course) solution:

Meet the Key Keeper.

Designed by Ryosaku Aoki for +d, it's a silicone cover designed to keep your keys from scratching other stuff.

Usage is pretty straightforward.

Kinda awesome, right?
And it comes in a ton of colors so you can tell which key is which.

See, two weeks ago I didn't even know these things existed but now I couldn't live without them.

I discovered these in Kwerkee, but ended up ordering from Rakuten because it's much much cheaper. Happy midweek shopping! ^^

P.S. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the day I found out what an earthquake was. Read the short story here
